I am a Ph.D. candidate in Literary and Cultural Studies at Carnegie Mellon University. I am also currently an A. W. Mellon Fellow in the Digital Humanities and am working on a project that uses dynamic network analysis and ecological history to better understand the transition from feudalism to capitalism in early modern England. My dissertation is on Shakespeare and the Transition from Feudalism to Capitalism and analyzes cultural symbols and transformations of land, labor, and commodities in early modern drama.
